Cedars HallCedars Hall

Cedars/Fox Hall is a 95-unit development of affordable housing in the Longwood community of the Bronx. 

66 apartments are for senior who are living alone or are heads of households; 28 units are a supportive housing component for grandparent families leaving the NYC shelter system.

Cedars will have an on-site social services program for all tenants. Program goals will focus on housing retention and economic, social, psychological, and health stability.

Social Workers and Counselors provide:

  • Counseling

  • Case management

  • Facilitated groups

  • Community referrals
  • Support for families and children

Community Lantern Corp., the social service affiliate of The Lantern Organization, provides the supportive services for all tenants.

Cedars is within walking distance of commercial establishments and convenience stores, public transportation, schools, hospitals and clinics.
