Leeward Hall is new construction of 15 units of permanent supportive housing in the Mott Haven section of the South Bronx.

All apartments are for families headed by an adult living with special needs.

Leeward Hall has an on-site social services program for all tenants. Program goals focus on housing retention and economic, social, psychological, and health stability.

Social Workers and Counselors provide:

  • Case management
  • Counseling
  • Facilitated groups
  • Community referrals

Community Lantern Corp., the social service affiliate of Lantern Organization, provides the supportive services for all tenants.

Leeward Hall is within walking distance of commercial establishments and convenience stores, public transportation, schools, parks and playgrounds, community facilities, and hospitals and clinics.
