Vicinitas Hall

Vicinitas Hall is new construction of 68 units of affordable and supportive housing located in the East Tremont community of the Bronx.

The project will provide housing and services for young adult members of the community. 41 units are for young adults who have aged out of foster care, and 27 units are for local young working adults.

Vicinitas Hall will have an on-site social services program for all tenants. Program goals focus on housing retention and economic, social, psychological, and health stability.

Social Workers and Case Management Staff provide the following services:

  • Counseling

  • Case management

  • Facilitated groups

  • Community referrals
  • Employment and Educational Assistance

Community Lantern Corp., a social service affiliate of Lantern Organization, provides the services for all tenants.

Vicinitas Hall is within walking distance of commercial establishments and convenience stores, public transportation, schools, parks and playgrounds, community facilities, hospitals and clinics.
